Depends how cold you want to ride in. The long bibs with chamois by itself will probably only be good down to about 40 degrees F. But it is a good choice if you will have a lot of days riding in those temps. My experience with PA is that they can have some pretty cold winters. And there will be a lot of days a lot colder than 40 degrees so you want something else as well for when its colder.

I find that for me it is more comfortable in the cold of winter to go with a regular short or short bib with a warm tight over that. Also these winter bibs very a lot in how cold you can ride in them depending on the fabric and thickness.
