it took me a second to realize what you were talking about; i guess i'm used to the anglosized term "vietnamese subs". it seems the regular posters here live on them (and chinese savory buns). i forget the name of the shops but there are two good ones on spadina, on the west side just north of dundas. they say "vietnamese sandwitch" on the sign somewhere. if you walk north and see a store called "tap phong" you've gone too far. i usually pay about $3 for 2 subs.
guys, help me out what are these places called?
