But for the life of me I can't imagine why Gary would ever need a trainer? How often does it rain in San Diego? 10 days a year? And does the temp ever drop below 60F? If I can ride 34 miles today while it was 44, overcast, and the wind was blowing at 10-20 mph, Gary can ride on the occasional rainy day just to show some solidarity with us pitiful lugs who really have to endure winter.
Come on Gary, show us your mettle.
Sometimes I can't get outside in the winter months before it gets dark. I'd rather sit in front of the TV and pedal something, instead of sitting in front of the TV and not pedalling something. Seems like a good way to kill an hour.
Otherwise, i agree. i like riding in the rain from time to time.
