I've had people telling me how 14 mph isn't a high average but I'm faster than most people around here and I have to ride pretty good to average that.
So far this year I have put in over 6,000 miles and my highest average is 18 mph on a pretty flat ride.
You're doing really good so don't feel down because you had a bad day or a good day that someone else convinced you was a bad day.
