Need Inexpensive, Durable Training Wheels (11 spd compatible)
I am upgrading the trainer/beater bike to 105 11-speed and need a new rear wheel with an 11-speed compatible hub (and will probably buy a full set for vanity reasons).
I would like something inexpensive (~$300 for the set) and durable (I don't want to worry about cracked rims, broken spokes). I am not concerned with weight or aero-ness and a high spoke count is fine.
Any recommendations?

Mavic Open Sport - Shimano 700c Wheel Set
Ive been running a set of these as my bad weather/winter wheels (and used them a lot this year in general) for a couple years now. 32 spoke, and just recently busted a nipple on the rear (I weigh ~195 pounds, started riding them when I was ~240). They have been great otherwise and I wouldn't hesitate to get another set (I have the 105 hubs)
Just read the 11spd part of the post...doesn't look like the hubs are 11 speed on these

Fulcrum Racing 5.
Mine have needed one only minor adjustment over the last year of riding/light racing. Came with the bike, but can be had for pretty cheap.

Robert's a member on this board. Builds any kind of wheel you want.
Definitely worth a call.
I just got a pair of exactly what you're asking for: durable 11-speed. They're solid and they sprint really well.

this. Rob built my front wheel back in summer of 2015. I average about 5000 miles/year on it, so it has somewhere around 20k miles. During this time, the bearings have been changed once, and recently the brake track is showing extended wear as braking has significantly worn down the portion of the track closer to the hub. However, the wheel is still quite true.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
Yeah, that looks up my alley. I might grab a pair of those in black and call it a day.
