2 hrs on zwift.
ended up with a solid 60' @ ~90%
FTP number might be a little low, but giong to wait until a 20' confirms.

I try.
Guy was walking his bike with a rear flat, I turned around to see if he needed help.
He was new to riding and was only carrying a multi-tool, no tube or pump.. I remember those days!
I showed him how to change a flat and gave him my tube. Now I'm sure something really terrible will happen to me given my good deed!

Whenever my wife says, 'Just a reminder...' I know its time to cancel the next days riding plans. It was her corporate fantasy draft, which is a big deal in the Evans Household. I think we grabbed too many rookies, but no matter how well you think you drafted luck plays a huge role.
Anyway, since I missed the group ride, still a tad sore, and it was hot out there, did a tweener ride; my term for an effort that isn't quite recovery and not quite quality. Too many of these and my ftp turns to slush. I'll more than make up for it tomorrow.

1 40min interval at 90% on zwift. Don't ask me why I'm riding on the trainer when it's 80 with sunshine

final tune up for GMSR this weekend.
and by "final tune up" I mean riding myself into the group because I'm insecure about my fitness level.
5.5 hours with 4*10ish minute hill repeats in the middle.

50 miles, with good pace in the middle in amazing weather. I was tired after this ride.
Yes, @hubcyclist, it was great weather outside!

This is almost exactly the same workout I have assigned, just with 1.5 hours endurance pace. I was going to do 3x10s but I think I'll do your version instead.

3 hours at Z2, to end the week at 579 TSS. Hoping the dissipating remnants of Erika won't rain me out of training all next week

This time I did the first minute of each rep at vo2 and then settled in at my target wattage for the remaining 4, so uh, try that.

2hrs: warm-up, 10x 20-30'' all-out sprints, 60' steady at 75-90% HRmax with sharp accelerations every 10'. After this and yesterdays gym legs feel thrashed... life's good

nice @mattm. when I see cyclists walking or on the side of the road, I always ask if they need help.

Team Group Ride, an easier route; lots of rollers not many hills. 21 hours on the week, a tad less intensity than I wanted, but hitting 3 hard days in a row seems to be counterproductive and kills my legs for the next few days.

I must have recovered from Wednesday's ride somewhere along the way during my 55-60 mile ride today -- phone battery drained before I was home, so I don't know exact mileage. I was very tired after yesterday's ride and felt a bit drained going into today's ride. However, somewhere along the way, I started feeling good, and I feel good now!

thought about doing wells but stayed up too late and wanted to sleep in.
4.5 hours with a smorgasbord of short (30-90 seconds), intense, seated efforts. i'm cooked. probably too cooked.
now eating intervals.
does anyone ever experience deep lung pain when riding hard? used to just happen to me in racing but it's been coming up more and more in training. similar to the burn from riding in the cold but I feel like it really prevents me from taking full, deep breathes. is this exercise induced asthma or am i a hypochondriac?
[not snark] don't you say this every week?[/not snark]
