One Second victory?
Wouldn't it be cool if Savoldelli won the giro by one second.
Simoni gained 4 minutes on Savoldelli on the penultimate stage in the 99 giro
and just missed second place by one second. Heras won that stage by the way.
And Pantani was kicked out while leading in the G.C.
99 Giro
1. Gotti
2. Savoldelli
3. Simoni
4. Jalabert
5. Heras
