Seven or Dean straight guage ti road frame?

Seven is more at $2k, Dean is less at $1.5k.... assuming it all fits the same.... which one?

there's a lot more discussion about gear/equipment in the general road cycling forum, you might ask a mod to move this

(I'd go for the Alaris, but I haven't heard enough about Dean to compare. And Why aren't you considering Moots around that price range?)
