I am very excited that there is going to be a Tour of California February 19-26, 2006. Okay, it's not
the Tour de France, but for me, it's a HUGH start! Pro cyling, big time, in the States!!!!

Ummm......there have been plenty of pro stage races in the US.
They raced the World Championship there in 1986.
It doesn't get much bigger than that.
