Paris-Nice, also called "prep" for the classics guys. One week of hard riding, just a couple weeks before the great one-days start up.

My GC pick - Valverde, he'll want to start the year with a bang and he was awful close last year. After that, he'll follow a schedule closer to what Tour GC guys do. Race just enough and do big training camps. :(

Man it's two solid months away and we are allready talking about it....talkin' about jonesn' for some racing!!!!!

Yeah Valverde is my pick for the Tour if Basso falters.

I'd put my money on Vino (Liberty Seguros) - he also is looking forward to starting the year with a bang... moreover this time he'll be backed up by 3 of his teammates from Kazahstan.
