Tour of CA on ESPN 2...late/early

This came up on from the letter bag at VeloNews. It looks like ESPN has boldly scheduled to air the one hour updates of the ToC around 1:00AM the following morning. Set your VCR's and TIVO's.

You know, I've been doing software programming for many years now - all sorts; embedded, statistical engines, financial trading systems, etc. - but to this day I never ever figured out how to program the damn VCR to record stuff.

Wait, you don't have cable but you have a dedicate T1 piped into your house. Interesting. For the price of the T1 you could possibly get cable with OLN and cable internet (which will be 4-8x faster than a T1).

While you're watch the coverage at one in the morning, be sure to call all of your friends who are baseball, football, basketball, hockey, tennis, and golf fans, and let them know that you just stayed up super-late to watch a real sport.

Ah, one day...

Madden: "You see, how it is, is; these guys in the blue are trying to get to the top of the hill, and they way they do it is by spinning the round thing which makes the wheel turn. That's how they do it."

Al: "Couldn't have said it better."

Audience: "I like how Madden relates to 'Everyday Joe'."

hahaha....

'and that stuff they drink? IT's the same stuff football players drink!"

we don't get ESPN around here unless you have Dish, but some of their programs are carried on our sports networks. However, i doubt this will make the cut. It just doesn't have the same pizzazz as poker or darts....
