Buying a Cat-5 License

Hey,

I currently race collegiate cycling, and am looking to enter USCF racing at Cat-5 level. A small question, I'm not part of a club currently except my school cycling club. Should I enter the school cycling club as my club affiliation on the add-on cat-5 license. The school team is part of my license affialition on the NCCA license.

I'm not entirely sure what they use the info for, or how putting that down would / would not affect me. Thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

if you're an attached rider your license will be cheaper.

Buy the COLLEGIATE license first, and then the USCF as an add on. It will be cheaper that way.

So yes, your school team first.

I've already bought the collegiate license, and now, a couple months late, i'm buying an add-on. For the add-on, then, I should attach myself to my collegiate club?

The typical unattached rider fee is $5 at each race, so you'll get the money backif you race much
