Question about scheduling
I'm having a training program made up by trainingbible.com to compare to what I am using right now, and toposibbly use when my current 10 week session is finished. However, the program requires that I know what races I am going to do.
Do races usually occur on the same date year to year? I haven't been able to find a 2003 schedule, so I'm trying to piece something together based on the 2002 schedule.

some events tend to occur around the same time as the previous year however the days might be adjusted to fall on a weekend.

You should join a race team/club.
They will better inform you of the latest events and such.

I'm in SC. I went to Racelistings.com and I can get in touch with race contacts and websites(some have 2003 dates) so I'm good to go right now.
