Levi at Catalunya
Nothing special to report, but it is good to see Levi racing again. No idea what his goals are for this race, but in the Stage 1 12.5km TT he finished in 13 place, 13 seconds behind Fabian Cancellara (CSC, Swi). Not great, but certainly not bad. Much better, for example, than Ullrich with his 80th placing at 49 seconds in the Giro stage 1 6.2km TT.
Seems like he's on target to peak for the Tour. We'll see how he continues to do in the Spanish mountains this week. So far so good.

This is today's stage at Catalunya:
225km, without about 25km of that downhill and maybe 40km of flattish. The rest is all climbing, from gradual to very steep.
I guess that explains why the Stage 4 results are not posted as of right now. They will be at this link:

I'm starting to wonder if he didn't get sick or something. He dropped off the face of the earth after the Tour of Cali. Then did the Sea Otter, not exactly the best way to compare yourself to the Euro pro's. Gerolstiener also has publically said that they are interested in Kloeden as their team captain. Levi's not showing much form at this stage of the season.

I gotta think he's sick, he's shown great form this spring, he's gotta be sick.

I feel bad for Levi, he's such a classy guy. Hopefully it's just a matter of him getting over a bug and then being on form for the TdF. It's nice to see him in Europe again, although I started carrying bottles of Gerolsteiner in my car a bit too late. Apparently earlier this season he was showing up to local races in northern cal.
