The American Team in the Tour de France...

turns out to be Danish

CSC announces their Tour team, with oddly enough, no Danes:

agreed, but considering the ASO rule change used in the past few years virtually turned the TTT into a toothless event, there didn't seem to be much point anymore.

Except that it is the cycling equivalent of poetry in motion. It is just flat out fun to watch.

technically you should have spoiler in the headline when the link has the tds winner in it. Props to the kaiser for hammering the ITT in that wind and rain but CSC will put a hurtin on the peleton in france

Yeah, Discovery's got, what, ONE rider from the US? They might as well just tell everyone they are based in Belgium.

CSC's a US based company, if I recall correct. The team's just based in Denmark.

Davitamon-Lotto may have more if Fast Freddie and Chris Horner are along for the TdF (has D-L announced their lineup for July, yet?)
