    My Renn disc just arrived

don't ask me how long it took. it wasn't pretty. but it's finally here. i got the madeira. the thing is so light i'm afraid to sit on it. yes, i know, weight on a flat time trial blah, blah, yada, yada.

any renn owners want to add some good or bad remarks about their disc?

i have a time trial in two weeks. i hope i'm worthy

I've got a 575 tubular. I really like it. I've had no issues from it in the year that I've had it.
FS: Fuji SL1 frameset, 55.5cm toptube, excellent condition.

As a Renn disc owner, I can only say that spending any more makes next to no sense... Just the fastest, most reasonably priced aero product on the market.

Also, their customer service is above all! Had a shipping damage to my disc that bought used. Send Renn an email (with a photo) asking if it was repairable and how much if would cost. Renn offered to take a look at the disc and either repair it or replace the actual disc (keeping the hub) all for FREE!!! And this despite me being absolutely honest in that the disc was bought used. Wish all bike companies could have customer service like this!!!!

You're losing precious seconds to those guys with lenticular shaped discs, not to mention the guys with dimples.

Actually, I think Renn's hit a really good value point. But there's always a way to buy faster. Is it worth it is a subjective value question. Some folks might say that a 32 spoke wheel with a V shaped rim is plenty aero, and it makes no sense to pay money for anything more aero than that. Depends on the size of your wallet, and what matters to you.

I purchased a Renn 575 Campy Clincher earlier this season and love it. Can't beat the price. I don't do enough TT's to justify spending $1000+ on a disc so the Renn is perfect for me. Also, the customer service has been great. I called and asked if it was possible to have the disc shipped in time for an important event coming up and they got it to me in less than 2 weeks when I had heard from multiple sources that they were on a 4 week wait.
