So, if Floyd gives up the Maillot Jaune...
Does Oscar Pereiro get tested, or did he get tested after his mega-breakaway? Granted, it was a flat stage, and I think it had more to do with Phonak being asleep at the wheel that day, but it would seem fair that he, as the new winner, get tested as well. Does anyone know if Oscar had to fill the cup too, and how many times?

Test him again, and again, and again, and again . . .
We'll probably end up with Magnus Backstedt as the winner.

Hell, if they test enough, at 359th in the US for Cat 5 men, I might win.

A sad thing about this if true would have been Pereiro's story had he ridden into Paris in Yellow. 46th to 1st on a breakaway that gains 30m on the field, hangs on in the Mountains and rides the time trail of his life! Legendary stuff.

I think most people would be happiest if they just did the whole damn thing over again instead of the Vuelta. Ullrich and Basso might be officially cleared at any moment and Vino is ready to go.

I just looked it up to find that the days stage winner, the days yellow jersey, and 6 to 8 random riders are tested. So Pereiro would have been tested a few times.

But why did Flandis only have an 'anomoly' in one test?

I thought it was pretty funny--I haven't won a single race but had a couple decent finishes and that was it. Guess it doesn't take much to go up the cat 5 rankings...

USCF Road Race Cat 4 Standings
1 - Rank in your zip code (252??)
13 - Rank in your state (WV)
95 - Rank in your riding age (31)
445 - Rank in 5 year age range (30-34)
949 - Rank in 10 year age range (30-39)
2293 - Overall Rank
It's going to take a lot of testing for them to get far enough down to give me the yellow jersey.

Funny how Floyd's lawyer is getting action here but strangely no mention of how much Ullie and Basso are leaning on their counselors.

I think the yellow jersey will go to Cypress. usacycling.org doesn't publish the list of crushed souls, but I think he probably has the most.

Pre or post digestion?
I think it should go to Karl Menzies. I just want to see them rip it as they try to pull it over his arms...
