Csc 07

JJ Haedo apparently lining up in 2007. Has had a brilliant season with Toyota....I'm a huge fan.

Anyone on here raced with him?

I tried talking with him after a crit he did down in NC. They (Toyota) didn't do so well, but it was a training race for 'em. They were doing the Bank of America Invitational the next day.
Anyway, I approached him a little bit afterwards, and he totally blew me off. Not exactly an ambassador for the sport, we'll say. Way to encourage.
Not such a huge fan anymore.
The Jittery Joes boys, on the other hand, are beyond awesome. Went drinking/partying with them after the BoA crit. Super guys. I cheered aloud when I heard Hoppy won that Atlanta 100k.
Karl Menzies was also super friendly. Got a picture with him on the start line!

Maybe Crown Prince Frederick is best placed to answer that one.

Ricky Ponting cost Australia the Ashes. He should be pillored and strung up for it.

Plus I know plenty of Aussie heroes who could easily pwn Boonie in a beer drinking contest. He's overrated as a pisspot drunken tossbag IMO. He's only an average Taswegien drunken pisspot tossbag

It depends on when you catch these guys.

JJ is the next big sprinter. He's amazing.

does Haedo have any experience racing europeans?

CSC is a good career move, if anyone can develop potential in a rider, it's those guys.

It's good, better than Phonaks, but not as good as Discovery's.

I happened to be in the exact same parking lot at the exact same time as this guy and I heard what went down. What a coincidence.

fujiacerider was harassing J.J. for water bottles, helmets, jerseys, sunglasses, autographs, etc. He just kept saying “You get this stuff for free, man. Why be stingy with it?” This guy was unreal. It really stuck out in my mind. I can’t believe I'm reading about it on bikeforums.net weeks later. Wow.

In any case, he was being a total dick. J.J. was very respectful and simply told him "I need to go cool down. Thanks for watching the races tonight." This kid was pissed. I heard him complaining to his buddies right away before J.J. had even rolled out of the parking lot to cool down. Unreal.

Ha! Yeah, that's the way it went down, alright. What, pissed 'cause you couldn't keep up in the race?
Ol' "Butch" here wasn't too happy about her race. I had a feeling it was her. Can't miss that haircut. I tried to help her out a bit by offering some water and condolences, but she was having none of it. She got all aggressive, and told me more than once she was going to "stick me" with her "nasty needles". God only knows what that meant. I tried leaving her alone, but she was aggressive all evening. Kept glaring at me. After changing in the bathroom, I even came out to find her walking very purposefully towards my bike! She stopped when she saw me come out, but then just stood there.
I don't know why she posted this about me, but I can assure you it's a personal grudge, and nothing more. I was not at all demanding of J.J. Haedo, I was being a fan. I mentioned nothing about autographs, free stuff, or any other such nonsense.
I really wish I knew why she was so evil to me, when all I treid to do was help. Maybe I came across all wrong, but it's not like I was pestering her.
Anyway, Butch, maybe you should find yourself another outlet for your frustrations. Perhaps another tattoo or something would help.

I saw JJ (and Ivan) on a flight from Philly-L.A. a few weeks ago and I got him to sign a copy of Cyclesport America that I just happened to be reading on the flight. He seemed kinda stunned to be recognized by a 5'8, 240 lb black guy. He probably thought I thought he was somebody from Disco...nevermind that he was wearing a Toyota United shirt. He wasn't talkative which was understandable since he was in the restroom line. but he seemed friendly.
