It does. That is the bikes name. Might be a million treks out there. Only one Manocoque

And doesn't the '11 Allez have the same geo as the Tarmac?

Edit: I just saw that monstorous headtube. Do they not make tarmacs that big?

tarmacs go up to 61cm (220mm HT i think) which is on the edge of fitting. the allez frame goes to a 64cm (250mm HT I think, and a slightly longer TT). yes - same geo which is great. and yes - assuming i like the bike, which i do so far, then a new fork will happen (but cost about the same as the frame/fork did). seems plenty stiff for my 220lbs (and the reason that the 18lbs of bike doesn't worry me too much).

Makes sense, he has 12-1300 gram tubulars on there, a light crankset, tuned red components, a SLR which is ungodly light, and a light cockpit, nice ride!

A CAAD-10 56cm weighs a reported 1150 for the black version (less paint than the others, I think). I think 390 for the fork (full carbon).

i don't get where all the love for the Allez comes from, especially for a bigger rider. IME they are super heavy and way flexy, not what I'd consider race worthy

The e5 allez is different. I think it takes a few pointers from the old E5 S-works.

Came as a frameset from cdale. SuperSix high mod are still backordered so we had the option on these, caad10 or wait.

I had this issue when I ordered a 2010 team frameset last year. They had my $3100. 3.5 months later they informed me they couldn't get the frameset and refunded my money. I'm guessing either they had problems getting frames or Team Liquigas hired some new riders. GL

It was common for the bike industry this year. No one knew how sale were going to go and even big companies didn't want to stock a ton of bikes. The super6 has been very popular for the last two year and after a ride I can see why. The caad9 is a great crit bike but this is a proper race bike. Just are nimble/quick/stiff as the 9 and a whole lot softer over the bumps.

Re Cannondale: apparently they nixed our team deal for CAAD10 framesets because we wanted too many. What the hell? Don't they still make a small profit on the team deals? It's not like they were giving them to us.

The price they offered up for complete caad10 rival bikes was pretty much giving them away. I thought about ordering a spare bike.

What kit were you in caloso at lp/bariani? I looked for the white Hot Italian kit in your avatar to say hi, were you on Rio Strada?

Yes, I'm on Rio Strada now. I was way behind you in the M123's. Once you guys established the break we went to the front and rode tempo.
