But it is parallel to the seat tube. One flaw: not on the smallest cog in the back.

haha... you guys are sharp. No slaking off - I like that!

I didn’t know about the smallest cog... but will take note. I also thought I read something about the valve stems needing to be hidden behind the seat stays and fork(?) but I don't like blocking the tire lettering.

The wheels are ‘06 Mavic Cosmic Carbones - with the yellow decals removed. I leave 'em on all the time - just love 'em.

Thanks for all the comments.

They are Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL clinchers. Without the decals, can't tell if they are the SSCs or the Premiums though.

Sorry... they're the SSC's. The premium's came out in '07 (I think)

Don't apologize, I had a set of the SSCs too. Great wheels. They look good without the decals.

New for '08, repost from it's own thread, and from the Road forum show your bike thread, but I like showing it off...

Perhaps the only thing I'd like to get would be some lighter carbon fiber wheels for races. I love the Eurus wheels, but some tubulars would rock. I've done a few training crits on it so far this year, it's first real crit is Sunday and it's first RR in a few weeks. From how it's handled so far I'm totally stoked.

Edit: gotta get some better pictures, but I've been too busy riding it despite the crap weather

Just recently finished building this up for racing. Will be getting its race debut this weekend.

Centaur crank will be replaced with an the '08 UT version when it gets here from the UK....

The frame and wheels were bought second-hand off ebay.... I don't have the cash to buy brand new custom scandium frames

for all of those out there who may not realize that aero wheels are optional, here's a pic of my early season racing bike (i don't start riding my giant until daylight savings time, which is at the very end of march over here):

Holy Seinfeld, that bike is more retro than botto himself. Note the old style stem. Even Pcad doesn't have one of those anymore.

If all goes well, I'll be grabbing this frameset this weekend. I'll be building it up with D-A. Too bad we are getting another 30cms of snow today! No outdoor riding for a while yet

Looks like a Garmin.

If you tried running the i-Bike off the stem, angled above parallel, the unit might explode.

pcad, you are the king of freds. You have a powertap laced to a 404 rim, and you have no idea what to do with either.
