Impressions: They are super loud. Louder than my old Campy Centaur hubs, louder than the Novatec hubs on my tubulars. Yes, like a lawn mower.
Stiff and light for such a tall rim. And yeah, I'm not crazy about the decals. I was hoping they were just peel off, but there seems to be a clearcoat, and if I decided to sell them down the road I might as well keep them on. |

That makes sense. Engagement seems instantaneous.

Seat to be replaced by new more padded model. Bars have gel under the tape. These are with the light wheels. Weighs about 14.2 this config. I found a lead sinker to put in the seat tube to get up to UCI weight.

where did you repair it at? and does it ride the same as before?
Rides exactly the same as before. Up close, top layer of repair has a 3k carbon weave for decoration. The above company is a local mom & pop operation. Literally. Worked with pop for the repair, mom came down to the basement to say hello. They do solid work. |
