Took a picture of my bike after my race today. I need to rewrap the bars since I don't have any tape on the tops, but I'm lazy and rarely ride there anyway. I spent most of the race today with my elbows almost completely bent. I think I might flip the stem soon, going to try dropping a space first though.

Good looking bike...i used to own one just like it.
Keep an eye on the non-drive side bottom bracket. it seems, by talking to my Specialized rep that they are having allot of returns on the white frames due to cracking where the bearing cups match up to the frame.
just letting ya know, they wouldn't even send me a white one to replace it cause they are going to discontinue it, or at least that is what they told me.

I wonder if it's just the paint cracking and it's just more visible on white. What are they sending you in it's place?

i don't care...the white tires look foolish on it though.
they said the white is showing it earlier, and the BB is slightly different on the new one i got. the way the cups fit into the carbon is a little different...sorry no pics.

Thanks ZeCannon for the brief write-up on your Opal. Here's mine, not qute finished yet. Waiting on my EC90 crank, EC90 SLX Handlebars, EC90 wheels and my white Selle SLR Kit Carbon saddle. It's hard waiting for parts when the weather is so nice in So Cal right now.

I'm not sure about the porn part, but it is my race rig- so I'll post it up!
As pictured, I've got $1200 into it, counting every single little bit...
Specialized Allez frame, Rolf Prima Apex wheels, 9spd DA (bought used)
I'm not afraid to throw it into corners and take chances- now I'm just looking for entry fee money & insurance so I can start toeing the line again.

The wheels are only mine for a week, but I'm racing them tomorrow morning at Plainville, so I think this counts as a race rig. Thanks to my friend Carl at New England Bicycle Consulting and Spooky Bikes for loaning them out! Initial impressions are very favorable, but I have only about 18 miles on them right now.

I'd have to confirm that, but they are certainly no heavier than 1350. A difference of 100g, natch, but still very light. I'll have to ask the lender, Carl, he would know for sure.
