Yeh, I really like it....It's nice and light, looks good and is acceptably stiff. What I mean by that is its certainly not the stiffest bike out there, but for the money, it's great!

I believe Planet-X currently have an offer on a fully Dura Ace 7900 built up version of this bike for only £1599.....a steal in my opinion.

I cahnged a couple of things. Looks a little better. I'm in a new position now than I was earlier in the rear. My seat has moved back 2cm, my bars down by 2mm, and my bars forward by 26mm

euphoria 08-18-09 09:03 PM

do I have super-sensitive knees or is it a terrifying prospect to move your saddle more than a few mm fore/aft

CrimsonKarter21 08-18-09 10:58 PM

Long story, but it works.

Bifnasty 08-20-09 08:52 AM

Posted this in its own thread in the main forum, but I updated the saddle to the carbon version and put the Kium one back on the old rig. I am about to finalize the bar height down and recut the steerer, but you probably get the point. With my 1965 gram wheel set on their now, it weighs in at 17lbs even. Thanks to Psimet for building the wheels a few months ago and the Force group.

this will be my race rig. gonna run the ft to the brifter instead of the dt shifter. gonna be my first race. it's a criterium so it should be fun. actually because of the race i'm riding more than ever. just have to balance with my new found love for mtb.

update: bars turned down, tires are conti ultra sport and random rear tire. also seat from a felt AR

You are my idol, I just can't help it. The difference is that I love my 3T cockpit, and didn't you have Deda before? :thumb:

CrimsonKarter21 08-21-09 07:07 PM

I'm not "in love" with my 3T bars/stem, but it's good stuff. I revoked my previous harsh criticism about the stuff recently.
I haven't had the Deda stuff since March or so.

whyd you switch again? still have the newton deeps? for sale perhaps? i like my shallows, but want to try some other stuff, and having all other deda stuff it would drive me nuts having a different brand bar.

Agreed on the logo, but the complete bike cost about as much as a Look or Cervelo frameset, so I can live with it.

New Dv46 clinchers? Those didn't survive the dog too, did they? Looks real nice.

El Diablo Rojo 08-22-09 04:58 PM

If you took a picture in front of a white garage door it would disappear.
