in all honesty- it was just an expensive color change. i had kryserium ES's before and the two wheel sets are almost identical on paper.

they both have...
captive spoke nips
box section rims that eliminate rim strips
carbon hub outter bodies
aluminum flat spokes with a cool way to connect to the hub
excess material machined away from the rim
etc

however, i have to say- the fit and finish of the Campys are WAAAAAAAAYYYY better than the Mavics and weigh slightly less too.

all around- i like the Campys more than the Mavics already and i've put over 8K miles on the mavics.

my $.02

I'm not overly impressed with the ES's. My teammate has a set and they are quite flexy. I've had two sets of Campy wheels, Neutrons, and they were excellent wheels with outstanding hubs.

A little late (had to replace seat due to crash at Philly race) Note: not my first choice of color, but my LBS gave me $50.00 bucks off for taking this model off of a Tarmac they were selling.

I just replaced the seat, angle wasn't set up rto what I orignally had (had to replace seat due to crash)

The camera angle also makes it look steeper then what it really is, but I do perfer to have the seat tilted down a bit, it helps rotate my hips forward, and when sitting on the nose it doesn't dig into my taint as much

One of my black or white Flite Ti's would look better on there.

Cool looking bike though!

Here's mine, almost completed (was still adjusting the Ft/Rr derailleurs)....it's a bit ugly, but it should get the job done.

Specialized Toupe....my butt seems to like it. It sorta looks a bit angled up there, but I haven't gotten around to fine-tuning the fit part yet (haven't ridden it).

Nicer than ALX-330's. There's a noticeable difference when cruising in the drops - much easier to maintain a good clip. If they're cheap and you don't have dancing shoes - get em.

For about the last 6 months my Cyfac laid dormant, after it donated it's vital organs to my S-Works. I finally got around to piecing it back together. I had some strap-on Fred bars on it last week, for a TT, I was happy to take them off today, and get some pics. I forgot how fun a stiff aluminum bike can be I'm probably going to be selling my older Roubaix Pro, and may swap the DA cranks and RD over to the Cyfac. Everything else on the Cyfac is already DA. I also have to say, I like the look and feel of the classic drop bars (instead of anatomic), it's the first time in about 3 years that I've used them. This bike will mostly be relegated to crit duty.
