yeah im pretty excited to ride it, which is weird for me because I tend to be insensitive towards equipment changes.
i've never owned a carbon frame or even ridden carbon wheels before so that should be a nice change.
my aluminum soul is going to be collecting alot of dust for a while.
I almost hope that I don't like this bike so I don't start saving money for it. I have better things to spend money on than a new rice bike.

I'm the same way--I rode an aluminum Felt F75 with whatever wheels for a long time, then finally got the AC1 with HED carbon wheels because the deal was too good to pass up. The fit is a lot better, which I'm sure accounts for a lot of it, but even so, it's still amazing to me how much more fun it is to ride the Blue, even with my crappy wheels. You're going to love it.

hit by a car last weekend after my race. physically fine(ish), but it looks like i'll be getting a new bike
probably gonna build up another caad10 since i love them so much, except i'll use a caad10-1 as the base bike, then i'll swap out the cockpit for deda/3t, crankset for hollowgram sisl, dura ace pedals, saddle for turbomatic, and maybe another set of race wheels depending how much insurance money I get
plus i'll be getting a new helmet and shoes since i cracked my helmet in the crash and the carbon sole on my r-315's is chewed up and frayed, so i think i'll get another aeon and pair of r-315's since i like them so much too

jus sayin'
jus messing with ya. i'm the one using pink bar tapes
Not really. Top women racers say there's no such thing as 'women-specific' bike fit. There's just good bike fit. And it's confirmed by ergonomic studies. Yes, women are on average smaller than men: to fit their bike well, smaller people need smaller-sized components.
That's one reason 3T's range extends broadly across all shapes and sizes, comprising many components ideally suited to smaller riders:
Shorter stems Our ARX range of stems starts at 7 cm length, in both ±6° and ±17° versions. Shorter PRO, TEAM, and LTD edition stems are of identical quality to the 'racing' lengths, so there's no compromise here.
Right-sized drop bars The ERGONOVA bar comes in 38 cm and 40 cm widths, measured across the drops. A 6° flare from the tops means it's 1.6 cm narrower across the hoods. Many customers say it's the most comfortable bar they ever rode. Some of them ride for pro teams, and are men.
Scaled tri bars Our AURA PRO tri bar has a 40-cm basebar suited to smaller physiques. The super-value package includes highly adjustable S-bend extensions. Team with an ARX stem to configure your bike's front end to perfection.
Track sprint bars Go narrower still! The all-conquering SCATTO bar started life at a narrow 37 cm. Our testers asked us for narrower still. Now the 35-cm version equips the women's sprint world champion.
One bar does it all! The innovative ZEFIRO, fusing the road rider's drop bar and the triathlete's aerobar, also comes in the 40 cm size. Shallow, flared drops make it easy to move between the ITU-legal Pi Wing extension and the drops.

It's not flashy but I do race this bike on a regular basis. I plan to upgrade in the next few years or when I get a better paying job.

Hi,
Minor updates (new stem and new tires) to my 2010 SuperSix Hi-Mod:
I like this bike a lot and no, I will not slam the stem. I am too old to be that low.

i'm in the process of dealing with the insurance people now, but it's going along pretty speedily. i have a competent agent working on my claim
before i used 3t ergonova pro handlebars and a deda servizio corse stem, i wish 3t made stems in angles other than 17 and 6. i have a -17 arx pro stem too and i couldn't really tell the difference in stiffness from the deda but the angle was a little too extreme
for now i dont have a bike to ride, but i cant quite ride yet anyway since it still hurts to sit on one
