Cobbled together... Rival group. 16lb 2oz with no weight weenie parts. Mismatching race wheels, etc. Great bike, very comfortable and handles well.

Plus the BH hovers over hot tubs... It's clearly not just any bike.

Nearly everyone on our team rides them and I have yet to hear a real complaint. They are stiff & responsive yet compliant enough that a 5 hour ride isn't a pain.

Unobtanium inserts in the bottom bracket & hubs. It's the next big thing.

The Gaulzetti is the holy grail of aluminum crit frames. It makes a CAAD 10 look like a Huffy. The Cannondale SRM is a nice touch, as is the matching saddle.

that's a classy set up, not the least of which because of the classic-bend handlebar

All, thanks for the kind words.

echappist, I tried "anatomic" bars for a few years and never could set them up to be comfortable and practical -- brake reach -- and I have big hands. I guess I'm not anatomically correct. So far I like these Deda bars better than the TTT bars that they replaced. Mostly because of the dual cable routing grooves.

Killer bike cleave. I'm with you on classic bend bars, the shape is just right and they look oh so sweet.

Yes, it's fi’zi:k Microtex Red Glossy. I've been using this tape for several years. Initially thought it might be slippery but found that it grips just fine.

Sorry for the bad picture, this was the first day I got my bike back in 2011 and only realized I took it the wrong way when someone pointed it out to me on BF later that week.. I havn't updated it yet but will do so on a nice sunny day this year. Nothing has changed since though except for my seat, and a flipped stem, both for comfort purposes. Plus the newb plastic disc on the rear wheel and cyclocomputer are both gone now, so nothing too special

I've taken a lot of beatings around here for racing with a frame pump...
