Tour of Quatar team time trial - why no TT bikes?

Was it just too expensive to get them there for one event?

My guess was that since it was only 6k that they didn't want to bother shipping all the extra equipment.

I think I remember T-Mobile having them, but no one else highlighted in the coverage. Funny thing...T-Mobile came in like 6th place or some-such.

On cycling.tv day two there was a comment that there was an agreement not to use aero equipment so as to give the local teams a chance (because they did not have that equipment available to them. As far as I know, this is a stipulation the pro tour teams gladly agreed to).
