Ullrich might return
There is a rumor that Ullrich may return to the peloton now that Operation peurto has been closed by a Spanish judge. This all depends on wether the judge releases the documents and blood bags to the UCI. If the judge does not turn over the evidence then the riders implicated will be exonerated completely from further scrutiny. This means that Ullrich will be free to get his racing license and sign with a pro tour team.
We may know more this week.

I was wondering about this due to his statements at his "retirement" announcement. This may give him some good motivation.

I read this morning that they are still comparing the blood bags with his dna, the article aslso stated that the bags had very low amounts of EPO in them. So if they match his dna to one of the bags then what?
He really really needs to come back to the tour for a head to head race with basso that we all missed out on last year.

I don't think he could get ready for this Tour. He will need to perhaps target next year's Tour as a way to go out of the sport in style. He could always do the Vuelta this year. yea, sorry he got booted last year because he looked to be in peak fitness.
