Bridging back to the group after a failed attack. It's always nice to get a 'thanks' for your towing services.

Going for a prime a little over a week ago at the twilights. I'm on the right just to the left of the wire. I think the guy was taking pics from a boat parked on the course.

^alright. Thought it might've been a teammate (Matt Howe), but I was pretty sure he was riding for Inland now and not DLP anymore.

Thanks.

Somewhere in the middle of last weekends P/1/2. About 15 seconds prior to the every-lap suffer fest known as the finish straight.

No, that's not me sprinting for the finish.. I would be the blue jersey on the left, boxed in.. damn!

(you can barely see me, it's the best I could do for a photo from yesterday's race)

Ah, well, if we're going for the where's waldo approach, here's me wheel surfing the Nat'l road race champ and our crit series leader (both Cat 1s) at the front of the pack, last week:

The photographer was focusing on the front of the race only, and when I went back a bit in the pack, and was actually suffering, there are no photos of me

*also, not illegally downloaded, this is shared through a free sharing link on the photog's site.

just think, if you had kept the Bontrager Race X Lite Aero wheels, you might have been a contender.

It put a hurtin on me one day. Started at the bottom with 65F temps. Got to the top and it was in the 40s, foggy, drizzling, low visibility. Great climb.

I'm in back with head down. The guy in front of me looks like he is suffering more, and I think he is, since he didn't make it to the line with our group. This is on the "wall" at the Syracuse Road Race.

Yeah... now that I've upgraded, and our income has bumped up, I'm eyeing components a little differently than I did last year. I'm at the point where a 0.5% help from a component may actually make a results difference every once in a while.

I'm starting to pick parts for a new front wheel and PowerTap rebuild (though part of me is pondering a Quarq/iBike upgrade instead)...

What's happening to me?

Thanks. I busted as$ up there with them for about 20 minutes trying to get a break to stick, and that was about all I had. Almost dropped out, recovered at the back, then found that orange leader's jersey in the final laps. I'm starting to put the pieces together at this level of racing.

First album I ever bought was a Hall and Oates one. Followed by Billy Idol.
