darn, what a shame. hopefully they can get their act together & host one in the next three years (when i leave Columbia), although i'd imagine it'd be hell to climb those Green Mountain hills. although to be honest, a collegiate event is the last place where you want to have sketchy sections. i have teammates in B races who were complaining about handling capabilities of the pack.

No, I'm a UMass Amherst alum, actually...

I applied to and was accepted at UVM, but never attended.

UVM was pretty high up on my list of schools. Made it into the honors program which was appealing (really nice dorms supposedly).

My college choice was between penn state honors and wes. Wes gave me more money and opportunity. I think I would have done better at PSU, but whatever.
Other choices were colgate, lafayette, UPitt, I don't remember what else anymore...

And what are these stories? I can confirm or deny them

where in PA are you from? i graduated 2003 from Lower Merion, which is outside of Philly on the Main Line.
