Slight suffer face. I think this was when I dragged the pack to a break my teammate was in.

Well duh, you've got by far the deepest wheels, of course you won. Plus those sunglasses are good for 10 watts.

Dilworth, Masters 35+, 10th place
Actually, I think this is the Pro-Am race. If it is then I was DFL in the field. After the race a friend came up and told me guys were falling off after the second lap. I kept trying to move up but I was really getting fatigued by the 30min mark. This was the last race of the day, and my second race. Also, I was there at 6:30am to help set up. Then I had to help with the registration, timing chip hand out, and payout ... then help break down the event. I tell ya, I was beat to hell after that.

British Universities and Colleges Sport 3up 50km TT at Longwick. Racing as University of Edinburgh although I'm in my club kit (in the middle). All three of us were virtually new to TTs so this was quite a learning experience.

Around 6 miles from the finish my team mate in white had an aero bar come loose. He managed to ride like that for a short distance but then after a corner it dropped down and jammed his front wheel, which threw him over the bars. We abandoned him at this point just to try and get a time but I blew up completely and my other team mate pretty much dragged me to the finish:

Was feeling quite faint by the end and had to lie down on the verge for a little while. Average HR was 175 for 1:21:49.

That's me in the front, engaged in a spirited game of tag-team at the Rockwall crit, 40+. Fun times when you have 23 starters and 4 strong teams, just a constant stream of attacks and counters.

Credit: Rockwall Cycling. Thanks for another fun race and good racing from team.

Stubby? I like that.
I didn't feel good racing in the 1/2 race, but I'm determined to keep getting better.
Thanks man.

Photog credit goes to teammate's GF. Carl Dolan Cat 4/5 race on Sunday. I'm second from the right, white jersey and bike, black shorts. We're strung out after a downhill and hard right corner. I think I was using the time to jump up a few spots on the outside. Everyone else looks fairly relaxed and I look like I was getting ready to move forward.

While I wasn't in that race, I can confirm it was indeed hard because a Facebook "friend" did not immediately post his results.

Finishing the road race for the Northwest Collegiate Cycling Conference Championships. I placed 6th in the RR and did a clean sweep in a breakaway of 3 for the crit. Ended up winning the overall for Cat C's. Looking forward to Cat B next season.
