Being dropped from the main group makes for good pictures, I guess. Also, seems like I have a rather happy looking suffer face.

Not sure if you realize that 3 guys in that sprint had been in a break for a number of laps and got caught just as they appeared in the frame. THe first guy caught was in bright yellow, went off screen to the left. The second and third guys are in red/black (on yellow line, teammate gets second) and pink black (next to red/black, teammate gets about 4th in sprint).

I figured he was joking on the fact that because of how the gif was made, the racers on the right side of the field seem to freeze in place.

Looks like you are making the other guys suffer, though.

Great pics but with the exception of Ygduf, everyone is still dressed like its winter! What's up with that?

My time in Off-the-Backistan has come to an end. It was a barren land, with only this single photo proving I was there. I ruled over 35 subjects as 24th in command.

Half of the racers in the background never got back on. This was a windy day.

Many thanks to Dick Van Hooser for a great shot.

Heck, that ain't even that close. This one i probably knicked the guy on the far left by a milimeter. I was cut off coming into the sprint, so i had to kind of wing it.

edit: photo creds go to my teammate laura webb

now if only a race could come down to a real field sprint. I would be set for life. Nothing better than sprinting.

For the win two years ago. I was OTF for 7 laps and Rockstar almost caught me. But he didn't.

Dude that won the Wente crit yesterday came from behind and pipped the other guy at the line, just barely.

He (the winner) had some kind of aero helmet on.

However, I think he's strong enough to have done it aero helmet or not.

My helmet is team issue so I have no choice on the matter. Lionel and I go head to head a lot and I usually beat him in the sprint. I screwed up and didn't time it or gear it right into the headwind. He deserved the sprint win no matter what was on his head.
