Wow, I ordered a print through the automated process, and the photographer emailed me a "web version to share." He cropped and lit it for me too. Bad. Ass.

I don't generally order prints, but this one's going in my office.

Yeah, but some of them are crazy fast. I remember a few years ago when Velotek was that way. It was fun.

WR - that kit is just F-U-G-L-Y! If I were in your district, I'd chase out of spite, or maybe altruism, just to try and save you the embarrassment of more photos of you in that thing from ending up on the innernets.

I don't know about the money yet -- they're mailing me a check, but the USAC table indicates $80, if I'm reading it right. $500 10 deep, however that comes out.

My prize bag had a pair of Oakley Flak Jackets, two Italian tires I'd never heard of (Challenge Criterium), and $60 in gift cards to Sun & Ski Sports.

That's funny, it's a love it or hate it kit for sure. They're pretty popular around here. My wife hates it too. She keeps threatening to lose or damage the bibs

It's just awesome to find your teammates in the field though.

newguy:

Well, considering the Flak Jackets I bought were $150 I'd say you did ok already.

You know when EDR (yet another Mike - heh) got on the team he suggested I sign on too. One reason I hedged was because of that kit. Uffa. I think he signed on because it matched his Look.

So how do you divide flak jackets with your teammates?

Only thing I ever won at a bike race was a lovely pair of Bolle sunglasses. Still use them for lawn mowing -- they cover half of my face.

Haha, that's great.

I actually like the Austin Bikes kit... But, I already have two teams (College and USCF) and another kit I wear regularly. Haha.

Botto, you've done some fine work here on BF, but that may be the best. The flames on the kit work so well with the theme.

Actually they're not that bad (I was kidding more than anything) - white kits and I just don't mix well. Actually in Austin my favorite team kits are San Jose and AT&T.

Yick. You picked the worst two there! Girling pb BSS (AKA Super Squadra), Velossimo, and Austin Bikes win hands down over those. Actually, the Source Endurance kits are the best looking of anything in Austin, but they're not an actual team.

San Jose is just...ugly. AT&T is the AT&T logo all over it. Plus, it's veeeery dark, which in Texas, is no Bueno.
