I have awesome balancing skills.

Cane Creek Speed Bars. Mass start legal aero bars. They clip on to the drop bars next to the stem. You should be able to see them better in this shot.

I'm probably on somebody's wheel, we're heading into a turn.

I guess it's habit but should you not be ready to slow at any moment in a crit?? (when on a wheel)

I try to be ready anyway..

Some people will bump back. Personally I have no problems rubbing elbows with someone bigger, or suicidal junior, who thinks they can push me off the wheel/line because of their size.

He was trying to get a chase going for much of the race. Some moves looked really promising but the lead group had a lot of horsepower and no one shirked their turn there.

Tour of Lawrence, KU Circuit Race. 4 mile laps with 400 ft climbing per lap. 100+ degrees with the sun beating down. Saw a new max hr of 206 after the sprint. I jumped into a fountain immediately after this race. These are two pics of the final climb before the sprint.

This one gives a good idea of the elevation change:

Great shot. Could you provide info on the cable routing behind the bars? It's something that's messy on my transition.

A few years ago at the Tour of Cali, my wife and I were walking around the team warm up area before the TT in LA. We were walking by Bert Grabsch (on Highroad at the time) as he was warming up when I heard my wife gasp. I turned and saw what she had gasped about. Someone decided to make the German National TT champ all white.....yeah....bad idea.

Tom, I'll PM you so as to not highjack the thread.

Baker City Cycling Classic, stage 4 finish on Dooley Mtn. Suffering because I bonked so badly at the bottom and had 7 miles of climbing to go. 2 man break for 30 miles into the climb must have hurt me a little. Could barely make it up, just wanted to close my eyes.
