Got to race at the NASCAR track here in Richmond, which made for a fast day. This is 2 laps to go, I'm 1st wheel stringing out the main field trying in vain to get back in touch with the break. Yes, my legs really are that hairy and I have no plans to shave them.

I'm normally fairly dark skinned, but no amount of sun can hide that hair.
Yes, I've crashed and had to patch up my leg wounds, no, it wasn't fun, but I still don't feel the need to shave and my wife certainly would prefer that I didn't. Queue the "Oooh, your wife has never felt smooth man legs!". I was wearing socks, very short ones, which is of course a violation of the rules and so on but I see no advantage to longer socks unless it's chilly.

In some difficulty chasing back to the field after being held up by a crash and taking a look at the camera. Made it back just barely. Photo by Katie Troung

Cat 3 crit at Race du Lac in Lake Charles this weekend. Small field that started off with a BANG from the gun. I was immediately in chase-mode trying to stay in contact. I was NOT ready for the immediate sprint with the 13-man field. Attack after attack, and a long chase by another team protecting their GC lead made for a pretty fast crit. I was definitely suffering (photo taken by my brother):

Making a kilometer blurry
Interesting. I see why you say that, as there is a lot of femur/elbow interference there, but eyeballs look right through the bars to see the front hub, which is a fine starting point for fit.

Anyone with suggestions on any changes I should make? I feel fine on the bike as is . . . but I'm always willing to listen!

I don't want to suggest that there's necessarily anything wrong there that you should make changes to. Especially if you feel comfortable. After all, it's just one photo. It was just off the top of my head that your bars look close, and you look surprisingly upright given the amount of drop you have. But like I said, it's one static photo, and I'm a very long way from being any sort of fit guru so I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's a nice shot, by the way - good job to your brother.
