Did you maybe eat too soon before the race?

I have to eat at least 3 hours before a race, or my tummy won't feel good during the ride.

I ate 2 1/2 hours prior, I'm thinking it was the cup of OJ I had with my breakfast.I had, about, 6 oz OJ, 8oz milk, 1 banana and 1 cup oatmeal with mixed nuts and honey. This is my first season, and that was my second race, I'm still learning.

Huy Buy shot these. This was last weekend in the Santa Barbara Stage race. Daniel is in the LUX kit and made the selection in the group that finally won.
As he flatted right after this picture - that's all I got to see. Some nice suffering going on. It was also 80 degrees.
He did get the Strava KOM for that lap.

People yawn guys... it happens. Even when you're tired! I've done it!

And that "pro guy" is James Laberge who used to be on Mike's Bikes. He had quite a year in 2014.

Ok... pretty sure I've seen many pics linked on here unpaid, with the watermark. Also figured that's the main reason why we include photo credit, because we don't "own" the photo most of the time we post one (and maybe also to be friendly to the photographer). If you don't want it on bf just ask and I'll get rid of it. It's on the internet anyway..

It is an ongoing problem I have. I can't track down everybody that does this, but just as you pay $$$ for your bikes, clothing, nutrition, gas, etc., so do I for my cameras, lenses, gas, etc. The photos are for sale to help offset those costs. While I appreciate the photos I have seen in this thread and all over BF that have my watermark as free advertising, it is still best to buy the photo. It isn't that expensive, and helps to continue me covering the races throughout the year.

dude I'll give you $5 to buy the photo of you winning. if you don't buy that one it'd be ridiculous.

and yes you should take down the watermarked photo, in case it's not clear.

fwiw the "norcalcyclingphotos" pics I post w/ watermark are from a teammate, he won't take my money for them!
