HAHA I only need to see that picture to know the exact race that was. I was SOOO glad I had something else going that weekend. There were some pretty hilarious pictures that came from that race though.

I was in that race too, for a couple of laps. I flatted out, the wheel car stopped just long enough to check if I had put wheels in, I hadn't, so they said "no wheels for you!" and left me standing in the sleet. There should be a word for that particular combination of frustration and relief. I walked for about 30 seconds before a local in a work van pulled over and gave me a ride back to the start/finish.

It was so ridiculous I couldn't help but love it. I had to do the final sprint sitting because my tights were so water logged they were falling down!

This is funny to me because road racing in freezing rain, snow and sleet is SO MUCH WORSE than a muddy cyclocross race. It's not even a matter of not being hard enough to take it. Just different perspectives and experiences.

It was a joke, folks. ("horrible" as in the wrong kit, since he left my team)

A joke that @Ygduf probably got.. if not he has thick skin anyway.

I did. Hence the safety vests. I'm not an internet nancy like all the 5'3" dudes on this forum.

When I redesigned our team's kits this year, I used your Squadra kits for inspiration. Different color scheme though.

My second CX race. Not as muddy as I expected the course to be, but definitely a chilly ride.

I got it.
you should have asked first. there are some drawbacks. (color didn't go far enough around on the back, meaning 20m up the road you couldn't recognize the kit. just black.)
