There's a .3 mile upgrade and some slightly rolling terrain on the backside of the course followed by a 40 mph downhill back to the start/finish. My guess is that small upgrade is 4-5% or so, tops. That is where many an attack is launched on that course. It's not so hard going up that little hill, it gets tougher if somebody drops the hammer over the top, that's where the elastic can really snap.

You can spin at 130+. You should be able to hit 200+.

And of course you forgot to mention that the final sprint also 3%~ or so. Let them suffer.

I only know the PP course because I've done so many laps of the course. I like racing there for a number of reasons. Very beautiful park. Easy to get in and out of there early in the AM on weekends too, nice parking area by the skating rink.

yeah right.
I only say that because all the juniors I know are skinny as hell, hardly pubescent and cat3+.
There were a bunch of cat4 juniors all over socal crits this summer, a few of which were pretty formidable. They actually rode as a team too that was cool to see.

Yeah, we have a little 14-year-old who just upgraded to Cat 3. Kid's really smart and very quick.
