US Pro Cycling Championship on TV

The US pro national championship road race will be on broadcast on NBC TV tomorrow (April 7). TV coverage starts at 2:30 PM EST (11:30 am on the west coast, so that means short ride day) and will last about 3 hours. The actual race starts at 8am in Virginia, so this is tape delayed.

This is not the US Pro championships - not for the stars and stripes jerseys.

This is the US Open, which is not any kind of championship at all, even though they may call it that. http://www.usopencycling.com/

Still should be good racing and worth watching.

Oops ... thanks for correcting me on that. I wonder if they contracted Phil Liggett for this, or if they have some other lame anchorman who doesn't know anything about cycling and/or racing.
