Roubaix Predictions!

Ok, so I was errant with my pick of Cancellara. He made a rather odd move with 40 km to go. I thought perhaps he might have tried that within 20km which seems more in his range after 200km of racing. Full chapeau to Ballan though.

I'm going to pick Boonen. I'm not sure on the status of his wrist, but I think he'll be out for keeps on Sunday. It would seem surreal for Boonen to miss both Flanders and Roubaix.

Anyone want to throw in a Gent pick, go ahead.

Depends on how the crash affected Boonen.

Hoste has shown in the past that he can have a strong RVV and a strong PR.

Cancellara was awesome on Sunday, so he could be the man to beat.

Not sure how Pozzato is going, guess tomorrow will shed some light.

Vaitkus is a dark horse...

coming off some stellar tipping at the RVV...I'm going for:

1. Ballan (to go the double with his white hot form)
2. Flecha
3. De Volder
4. Eisel
5. Van Bon

No Stu...but he'll probably win having said that. He's @ 35 euros for the win on Unibet.

Guesdon and Pozzato will show.

Boonen is 3:15 back.

I wonder if PVP is going to show himself this year. I think Cancellara is a solid pick for P-R, barring mechanical.

Working for Tommeke. Plus was looking very fatigued after only 200km at the Ronde.

Doesn't have the condition of a couple of years ago.

Phil Liggett...... oh wait.

For real now: Stuart O'Grady

Boonen hasn't been doing that good in his A races, Ballan is on form but will it last till this weekend (he is not doing Ghent-W).... Big Magnus could also surpirse(he has the most to prove after his constant wrecks that make him miss the classics)

Yea, but you know they're going to throw him a bone, but maybe they already did and his teeth are so old all he was able to do was drag it away and bury it. Maybe G-W. Maybe he was saving it at Flanders. Maybe a new hairdo will reinvigorate him. Or Maybe a beer. Go PVP! Belgium is your world. Soon to swallow you whole. One last Hurrah! from the swarthy one?

Leif Hoste or Michael Boogerd.

Simply because they're both the eternal bridesmaid's of the peleton.

Quickstep, even with their $18 gazilion budget, would not be able to afford the razor blades. They need to get Gillette on board as a co-sponsor.

Did he ever ride for Trident-Schick in the early 90s aloingside Van Bondt? He would've been smoother than Klim's head.

Boonen has really not been up to form lately.

O'Grady, Michelson for P-R.

I doubt Petacchi will win G-W, he really threw away Milano-San Remo

I doubt Boogerd is even riding PR. The course isn't suited to him.

I'd love to pick Devolder, but the Disco classics team just seems weak. Hoste is my pick.
