just playin'... heck, with the flu that my wife daughter and self are passing around right now, the Dolan race might be the next time I throw a leg over a bike, so I might be OTB on lap 1. I'm planning on doing the 30/40 then the 3/4 back to back, we'll see how it goes.

Bunnyhop - not planning on that one this year, it's my least favorite race for some reason. Last year, my water bottle rattled out of its cage on like the 2nd lap of 100 or whatever it was, I had to race the whole thing no h2o, that sucked.

Bunny Hop is the day after Poolesville, right? That's the one I'll be missing. I figure I can tolerate a decent amount of suffering in P-ville because I'm on a plane to Hawaii the next day--going to a conference.

Speaking of no H2O--I have this nasty habit of forgetting to drink during crits. I really need to work on that, because I end up feeling flat at the end.

Bunnyhop is day after poolesville. Conferences in Hawaii, I knew I should have gone into medicine ...

It's easy to forget to drink during crits, especially technical ones where the pace is really on, I try to drink on the same part of the course or anytime there is a lull.

At some point don't you guys feel like 14 guys is *too* many? Seems like a bunch would just be along for the ride.

Too many in the sense that you're competing with your own teammates for upgrade points.

I don't know--I mean, plenty of folks are ultimately along for the ride at any race. All the big local teams are showing up in big numbers for the race with double-digit numbers of guys. As far as competing for upgrade points, I don't think it's an issue worth chasing down a teammate over.
