I predict that Vande Velde won't make his scheduled start. He is listed on the cyclingnews start list for CSC.

Sammy Sanchez...because I always pick Sanchez. But really, Valverde wants this win and I'm not sure anyone can stop him.

Is Vino riding Amstel, or just L-B-L?

It's hard to go against Valverde.

I'm going to go out on a limb: Danilo Di Luca FTW!

The only favourites (that I know of) that are specifically peaking for this race are Valv.Piti, Schleck, Boogerd and Kroon. The others are roughly aiming for the 3 Ardennes races in general. So I personally think the winner will be one of these 4 (but not Boogerd as he will be too marked). Schleck will be strong, but I think Valverde will take it in a small-group sprint. Boogerd will lead it out and get swamped for 3rd of 4th

Why don't you like Schumacher? Classy rider. His stage win in the Giro last year was really impressive.

Facial hair from the 90's.

Actually, I think some fans here might still remember that little incident with Hincapie last year on the 23rd of August.

Hey, no hard feelings here, Stefan, but trim the goat.
