NBC U.S. Open epic finale and post-race video now up

Thanks to permission from NBC Sports and Red Five Sports Group, I've posted over 30 minutes of high quality video from last weekend's great finish and slightly lower quality video from the post-race interview and recap:

No worries, you've got good stuff.

I read in one of the previews that they were going to do a recap, but I never saw one.

My club's women's team had several riders in the women's field. They were, uh, disappointed by the lack of coverage.

Thanks for posting. Was very cool last weekend to turn on the tube and see some local kits (Kelly and Rite Aid) on National TV ... and to tell my wife that I've been in races against and group rides with some of those guys!

Cool, but I don't know if I'd call it an "epic finale", necessarily.

I guess I called it epic because the difficult conditions caused only a third of the field to finish and two guys held off the chase group for the final 12 miles with a gap that hovered around 30 seconds to a minute most of the way. Watching a spent Pat McCarty hold on for second was exciting. It's always great when a break succeeds. Plus the all the expensive camera work added to the drama. It was more exciting than most races I've seen and epic is what the announcers called it as did some of the riders.
