Battenkill-Roubaix rolecall!
Attention swissys, sissies, and, missies! The Battenkill-Roubaix is coming in T minus 10 days. Whom among us will be engaging in this rollicking race of rolling fisticuffs?
Me? Oh yeah, I'll be there. The cat3 field will be crushed between my masticating thighs of doom and gloom. The others shall be poisoned by the smell of burning lycra as my quads grind back and forth upon each other.
Fact: The Cat3 pace car is a Lotus Elise, as its one of the few cars that can keep up with me when I crest hills.
Fact: all the dirt roads we'll be riding on were actually paved until I casually thundered over them and pulverized the asphault.
Fact: DrWJODonnell wont be showing up because he heard my thighs were gonna be there. YOU CANT AVOID ME FOREVER!

what tires are best for this race?
Since cat 4 was closed I registered for men 30+ (cat 1-4) which should be more challenging ?

What a friggin' cool event.
But I'll be going around and around and around and around in Central Park.
Maybe next year, though.

Oh I'll be there. All the way up from Brooklyn baby. Lucky enough to grab a spot in the 4's before they closed up (in like 25 mins.)

ohh uh..woh was I sayin?
I've been off my bike for 2 weeks, and I've got 4 days of riding to get into shape. Its okay though. I figure that'll just make it fair on the 3 field
Be gentle, great one

Oh you just wait, Botto. In 50 years all of the grand tours, stage races, and spring classics in Europe will have the word MUP in them paying homage to the great urban circuit races of the US.

sorry to break it to the promoters, but dirt roads are not pavé.

And while Ithink most folks understand most of these races don't have pave, the analogy gives you some idea of what the course is going to be like.
It is going to get a little shop worn pretty fast at this rate though.
