Comcast broadcasting races (delayed) on TV?

I've never seen one here in Birmingham until today @ noon on CSS (Charter Cable). They covered the Jacksonville Cycling Classic Pro/1/2 Crit run on April 14th. Just happy to know that someone thinks there's an audience, and for not running it at 3am.

They did show some of the crashes but none of the shots were close-ups or replayed, so if you were in one I couldn't ID you

The whole broadcast was rather dark. Lighting costs $.

I will have to check and see if the Tivo caught that one, I know it catches most any cycling that comes on. Do you ride and or race in B'ham? This is my first year of racing and I just moved back to B'ham last August...

I ride but too fat and slow to race. I enjoy the HW Tuesday night world's B group, but can't hang with the A's. Usually on my Casati for that ride, pick it up @ BBC. Say hello one night if you're there.

I think we may have ridden together the first night of the "worlds" actually. I got in from BBC that night as I was running late only to find the B's didn't come by so we had to short cut down 78 to catch up, there was myself and 3 others including a father and son on 'dales. Was that you?

That was me. The father and son hung on with the A's. I ended up doing that one mostly by myself between the two groups.

Yeah I kind of figured it was after seeing pics of your bike on the "Alabama" thread and you thought we had maybe ridden together as well. Think you were also there that Wednesday for Dirt's ride. I ended up doing the first worlds from way back after stopping to help someone with a flat get rolling again. I am doing some work in WV right now so I don't get many of the weeknight rides...
