Darwin and the USCF TT
Fastest time at the TT on Sat: Just under 20 minutes.
Slowest times at the TT on Sat: 37-43 mins.
Pcad's time at the TT on Sat.: 27th in the 45+:

There ALWAYS somebody faster than you.
FWIW, the race scene at this TT reminded me more of running races than the higher tension scene @ the some mass start races. A little less of the elitist BS, a little more friendly pre/post race banter.
For the record, 'Cotsis CAD' is my company, not a race team. Don't ask me how they got that mixed up, but I kind of like it. Maybe I'll start a Cotsis CAD Cycling Team. Cypress can be my first elite rider/team Enforcer.

Kenny's always been a beast. And he's getting faster. And NICER too. Good to see that young man (he's 27) focusing all that energy on bicycle racing. Probably the best thing that ever happened to him and it's great to see him thriving. The other big plus is he's so busy racing seriously for NE Hardware we don't have to chase him on the Nyack Ride on Sunday so often.
Yes Dr. those NE Hardware boys did vaporize the competition on Saturday. Awesome display. You would have enjoyed watching them blow across the finish line at the top of that last steep hill.
Like I said all I wanted to do was not finish DFL. I think there were approximately 175 adult male competitors, I finished 125th. Next year I'd like to move up 50+ spots. And that's the beauty of the TT. It gives you a measurable goal you can train for vs. the pack fodder result that most of my mass start races always resulted in even in my best days. So the guy who rode a 32 minute time can shoot for speed gains just like the guy who finished 20 seconds out of 1st place. And your poential improvement is directly measurable from year to year. I found that aspect of the TT highly motivational. I've only done a few, I'd like to do more.
