I went to Joe Martin this weekend to race and spectate. A raced the 4's. I was only able to watch the pro women and pro men on the crit due to my own races. It was my first NRC race and I couldn't believe how fast the pro's took the corners and climbed the crit hill. A couple of guys in our 4 race attacked on the same downhill turn that the pro's took at about 40mph. Unfortunatly, the cat4 guys that tried this ending up in the hay with blow tires from locking up the back wheel. The crit course was crazy. Super hard climb that shredded the fields. The toughest crit course I have ever seen. I am from Tx so this crit with a tought climb may be normal but not in Tx. Great race to watch and race.
