Robbie McEwen thunders across the finish line with the understanding that the winner gets to know what the joke is.

On a related note, we always seem to hear about Petacchi and his lead out trains but McEwen? He seems to come out of nowhere, leadout train or not. What's up with that?

McEwen uses other people besides his team as the leadout train....he's always right behind the sprinter of the leadout train and uses him as a slingshot

They're different kind of sprinters. Petacchi has amazing top speed, but needs a while to work up to it. McEwen has great acceleration and just picks his wheel to jump out from behind.

+1 McEwen is fun to watch. He seems to just appear in places where one would think a hole wouldn't open up. Petacchi as fast as he is seems to need an armchair ride to the finish.
