Remember the Tour of Virginia...

where there was a "slight" disagreement after the finish?

Updates...

It appears that the rider from UV has left racing, forever.

I'm sure he'll make a much better living practicing law than riding a bike. Probably end up as an ambulance chaser.

He hasn't. He won the Collegiate Omnium just a couple of weeks ago:

Maybe we'll see the Stars and Stripes mixing it up again...

I just read the original article where he said he would not appeal because he'd quit...

Maybe they need to run him down...

Sounds like great lawyer material. "Personal injury? Call 1-800..."

Read the article in your link. He sure likes the "I" and "me" words a lot.

He also said last year (after his first Championship) that he wasn't going to keep racing, and then spent the summer in Belgium or the Netherlands racing whatever circuit it is that people race there. From my understanding, he wore the S&S the whole time. Maybe we should send botto over to have a chat with him...

(For what it's worth, while I think Hardman is a bit of a comedy, I reserve judgement on the ToV antics until I get some more facts. Being a harmless tool is one thing -- starting a fight, if he's responsible, is another.)

This is hardly Carney's first run-in too. The sport does not need behavior like this in the drug-riddled world we live in.

A better living? As in more money, or a better life?
