Traditional vs Bladed spokes?
How much of a difference do aero spokes make compared to "normal" spokes?
Sepcifically, I'm considering buying a set of American Classic 420s with bladed spokes, but I can get them with round spokes and shave off about 70 g of weight. What is the better option?
I'm also tempted by the Sprint 350s as I really enjoy hill climbing, but I've heard they can be pretty flexy. Anyone have experience with these?
I should mention that I only weigh 140 lbs, so flex might not be too much of a problem. I'm really after a good all-purpose racing wheelset for not too much $$$, so if you have any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them

If you go to www.zipp.com and look in the "technology" section, there's a 3-page PDF that will tell you in almost-nauseating detail all about choosing the number and type of spokes for the best aerodynamics.
FWIW, the best spoke in their wind tunnel testing is the Sapim CX-Ray, but I forget the actual power savings from the aero benefit.

You can flex the rim, but it's not something I ever had a problem with.
And in general, things have to be really hilly before weight trumps aerodynamics.
